Experience
Since giving my first German lesson in 1994 I have worked with students of all age groups and proficiency levels. I enjoy sharing my native language in a friendly and patient setting. Since 2000 I have given many private and small group classes in Drawing and general Art making and my students have always loved learning with me. In 2013 I helped a friend of mine by taking on her maternity cover and taught English on her behalf in a beautiful small town called Padova, near Venice. This was a fantastic experience. I worked with children, pupils, high reaching professionals as well as some retirees who took up learning English as a Hobby. In general I enjoy most when students find their enthusiasm, forget their nerves and are able to make the progress they hoped for. I am definitely goal orientated and if you a re working learning a deadline and need to reach your target level of German Language proficiency I will pull out all the stops to help you achieve your goal.

Hobbies
My professional interests are also my hobby interests. As a full time artist-photographer and part time language tutor I find myself drawing for work but also for pleasure. Teaching a class can be tiring but I enjoy it so much that researching material and preparing for it are part of my hobby. My Fine Art degree dissertations both investigated contemporary dance both have influenced my drawing practice, my photography projects. My personal project are children's calendar illustrations, which never seem to make it into a calendar as I sell them before I have the opportunity to scan them and upload them into the computer for post processing. I enjoyed living in India, Thailand and Cambodia. I am interested in social issues and photography.
